Wow, it's been A WHILE! But I'm sure the people I've talked on the phone with know what's been going on. Sorry to those who use this to know what's happening. In short, I've been busier. Got another client for work, so all my afternoons are booked now.

Johnny's busy busy busy..running everywhere..signing, speaking small words. He's got some DVD's now (Nemo, monsters, sharktale, shrek), so he's constantly asking for something. hehe... We just gave him a haircut a couple weeks ago.

Anyways, gotta get ready for work. I'll update in detail later.  

So today was kinda weird... Ken called me earlier to go to dinner at his dads' house. I decide to be "on time" since he said 6:30/7, so I got there at 6:30. Little do I know, that they're eating, and his sister is there. I knock, to everyone's surprise that I'm there. I can see the worried looks on his grandmother and grandfathers face. She of course give the baby a "hi Johnny" and doesn't look or say anythign to me. I get moved to the other house until she finishes her dinner and leaves for work. And what I don't get is that they're trying to get her to go to his bday party on Saturday, and accept me there, but tonight was already weird. So how did they expect for both of us to show up on saturday and have everything be ok? Beats me...

Anyways, for those who read this...most of you have not replied to whether or not you're going to the party on Sunday. For those who did not get any invites, I probably have not talked to you in a long time or don't have your email address, so if you want to come, lemme know asap! Oh by the way, the saturday lunch has some 4 tables open (approx 30 people), so if anyone can make it for Saturday as well (more free food!), then let me know also k?

Thanksgiving is around the corner..I don't know for sure what I'm doing yet...we'll see... We've been slowly giving the baby a haircut the last couple days. hehe... It's okay...I mean not great but what can you expect cutting hair for someone who doesn't really sit still. hehehe...

okay, so halloween was cool..Some of you may have seem Johnny's halloween pictures. He was a cute little winnie the pooh bumble bee. hehe... We went trick or treating at his uncles neighborhood and that was kinda cool. Got lot of candy..for ourselves.hehe.. =)

I took a couple midterms and did kinda eh on them. Oh well... anyways, I'm feeling a little blah right now, so may not have much exciting news to say. Things have actually been going pretty well... We've been planning the baby's birthday party. He's actually going to be having two. One for the chinese traditional one, and one for us. So that's kinda cool. So the big issue now is whether or not Kens' sister is going to be there or not. She suppossedly has to think about it. So we'll see how that turns out.

Okay, so it's been a couple months since I've posted. The baby is doing well.. He's got two top teeth now and he's trying to stand up on his own. He's about 17 lbs right now. He's learned to clap and wave, and he's kinda saying mama, well we think he knows what that means now. But otherwise, he just makes a lot of sounds and noise. hehe...

I've started working part time at this non profit agency still working with kids that have autism. It was frustrating at first with the schedule and stuffs, but now its kinda stabilized. I have two classes for school, and they're going okay. I just had a midterm yesterday, and so far it went alright. Maybe not super duper good, but good enough. Minor errors that I made I think, but too bad it was multiple choice.

I haven't been able to post more picture because this computer is a little messed up and we're trying to copy everything to CD's then format the hard drive, so most of the pictures are on a disk somewhere. Hopefully once that gets done, then we'll be able to post them again.

Since my last post, Ken had a birthday, I had a birthday, got a new job, started school, and just been managing all of that. exciting huh? haha..well it's not that simple. Ken's family has also been in the process of moving, so they haven't been able to come all the time to take care of the baby, so the last couple of weeks, Johnny has got to spend some time with his different uncles. hehe... His sister is still the same... still angry and full of whatever it is she feels. His friends are kinda the same, but I guess I gotta admit, better than before. At least they're not here ALL the time, it's just when they go out, they don't really think. so that's when stuff happens. I kinda talked to one of them, and he understood what I meant, but he said, you know, after they have been drinking, its kinda hard to actually process the fact they they gotta think that Ken is a dad and there's a baby and stuff like that. *sigh*

Anyways, his family is going on vacation for veterans day weekend. Oh yeah, Ken went to SF with his friends a couple weeks ago, so that was kinda interesting with the baby. he actually knew that he was gone. So hopefully the next vacation, which will be longer, will be okay. I'm just worried about when the holidays come. I just have to wait for whenever his sister knows or decides if she's gonna work for the thanksgiving and christmas or not. grrr...

Anyways, until next time.. =) Oh yeah, Johnny is gonna be the bee winnie the pooh for halloween. we're gonna take him trick or treating, and on thursday his mom has some party thing at work, so he can go there, and we're gonna go and have some food. hehe.. Then on Wednesday, his play class is having a halloween thing where they can dress up and they get to take a picture.

Okay, So i'm kinda bored right now... I updated some more photos of the baby. I think I forgot to mention in the last couple posts that he does have two little bottom teeth now, but I haven't really been able to get any pictures of him with his teeth.

As usual I haven't been terribly busy still. We just paid for my speeding ticket (My first ticket!!! Argh!) so now I gotta take traffic school. Kens uncle got a ticket too for speeding. haha. I was kinda able to catch up with a couple of people during the last few weeks, which was kinda good. We take the baby to play class every wednesday afternoon, but we got the multiple plan, so I'm trying to go on Saturdays too so that we can get our money's worth. hehe... These next couple weeks is swim week, so I just bought him a pair of swimming trunks.

This past weekend kinda sucked though...I had to argue with Ken's friend Steven. Short version of the story was basically he wanted Ken to go drinking at like 1am, and told him to bring clothes in case "he coulnd't make it back", and I voiced my concern that it was late and why couldn't they plan it earlier. My thinking was that if they drank, he would be pretty late, he would get back late, he wouldn't get enough, if any, sleep and be responsible to take care of the baby. I'm thinking too much? Unreasonable? I don't know... but anyways, so he called Steven to let him know he wasn't gonna go, blamed it on me, and Steven decided to retaliate at me, and said he was coming here, and if I don't open the door for him then fine they're just gonna be outside. So they actually came, and I argued with him at the door for a few minutes of why I wasn't gonna let them come in and drink here.  And none of them see why I feel what I feel...they think as long as the baby is sleeping, its okay. They see no problem... pshh.. so by then it was almost 1:30am. So yeah, there was tension for a few days. His mom came on Saturday  afternoon and took me to get some boba and stuffs to make me feel better. she totally agrees with me, but there's nothing she can really do. I think she called his dad or grandmother to tell them to not have him have people over late cuz the baby needs his sleep and stuffs. But you know, anything I say coming from me is just nagging...I try to make sense and explain, but maybe it doesn't come out right.

Monday my friend Tom came down to visit! Yea! hehe...it was actually after 2 months he came back, which is a good record for him haha..I felt a little bad cuz we didn't really do anyting, just went to dim sum for lunch, then came back and hung out at the apt the rest of the day. But I guess it was cool cuz usually when he comes down, he drops by for dinner and then  has to go, so we actually got a chance to talk, and he got to interact w/the baby. That really helped to make me feel better though. Funny thing happened, Monday night, it seemed like Ken was coming to make up, and then he asked me if I had anything to say, and he said he just dind't understand, and then that pretty much started us talking for a long time again cuz once I started explaining my position, he got all upset again. *sigh*...so we had to talk twice, and I don't know if the second time, he dind't want to say anything and understood what I was saying or what.  I realize that his friends are immature and not ready to handle having a friend that has a baby, and I may be immature at times too, but its not like I don't try to think things and look out for responsibilities.

But anyways, now we're doing well again..go figure. I havne't done anything exciting lately, as always haha. So yeah, I was gonna sign up for this food thing, since we don't have a real kitchen and not much room. This place offers meals that you go and pack/prepare, then come home keep in the fridge or freezer, and then cook it. So they get all the meats ingredients and stuffs and put direction on how to cook it. So beats us going to market, and trying to load our fridge w/stuff and cook it. Not a bad idea....
